NearRx - Account Deletion Request

User Data & Account Deletion Policy

In accordance with Google Play Developer Policies and global user privacy standards, NearRx allows all registered users to request the permanent deletion of their account and associated personal data.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When your account deletion request is processed, the following information will be permanently removed from our active databases:

Profile Information: Your registered name, phone number, email address, profile avatar, and default address coordinates.
Prescription Documents: Uploaded prescription images stored in cloud storage associated with your user UID.
Refill Reminders: Scheduled medication alarms and reminder configurations.
Location & Search History: Saved geolocation preferences and nearby pharmacy lookup history.

Data Retention Exceptions

As a healthcare & pharmacy marketplace operating under Indian regulatory frameworks, certain transactional records (such as completed invoice logs, GST tax records, and prescription verification audit trails) may be retained in encrypted backup archives for the duration required by applicable pharmaceutical and financial laws.

Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, your profile, order history, active prescription tokens, and refill reminders cannot be recovered. You will need to register a new account to use NearRx again.
